Tuesday's Tunes: Don't let our love fern die...

I have had this song stuck in my head (and my heart) for about a week at least.  I posted it on my Facebook the other day, but thought I'd share it with you guys also.
It's a fantastic song from one of my favorite parts from one of my favorite movies!
Do you know what I'm referring to?  :o)

I just love the message in this song!  Until recently, I didn't really understand what that felt like to have something "feel like home" besides being at my Mom's house with my family, ya know.  I now know that you can get that feeling being with great people at church  or wonderful friends or with that special someone.
It's pretty incredible!

Coincidentally, another one of her songs is from my favorite part in another awesome movie.  Any ideas?

I'd love to know what "feels like home" to you!  :o)

Happy Tuesday, y'all!!

  1. I'm not even sure I know which movie that is from... I bet I'll feel really dumb when you tell me and I'll be like, "Oh, yeah, NOW I know." lol

What feels like home to me? Tickling the Gabester and watching Avi crack up laughing like it's her being tickled (we did that this morning). Snuggling with Nate (of course!). Soaking up the love at church. Digging my toes into the sand and listening to the waves crash on the beach... =)

I'm lovin' your themes! Hope you have a fantastic day!

  2. What fees like home to me is mostly aromas. Like ham at my grandma's or chocolate brownies and sweets baking at my great grandma's house.

  3. Thank you for posting this! Very nice. I agree with the above poster "Tomi" Home makes me think of aromas like fresh bread baking in my kitchen, or the scent of my late grandmothers kitchen when she used to bake tea cakes with fresh butter she churned herself, or stand over the stove making homemade caramel icing to go on her seven layer caramel cake:-)
