So, I've kind of been bitten by the craft bug here lately. I got really inspired by Andrea over at *Keepin it Thrifty* yesterday while perusing thru some of her posts. I decided to make some little Mother's Day gifts for my Mom and sisters...and a little something for myself too. :o)
For myself, I made a cupcake stand with things all found at Dollar Tree.
I followed Andrea's tutorial and it came out perfect!!
Items used: 2 plates and 1 bowl ($1 ea), 2 candlestick holders ($1 ea) and 9001 glue ($4)-Total of $10
I just love it!! I can't wait to use it!
I decided on chalkboard coffee mugs and glass vases for Mother's day gifts.
For my first time attempting anything like this, I'm pretty satisfied with the way they turned out. :o)
I am enjoying my weekend in NOLA (again) with my family and did a little crafting, making flower hair clips with my sisters. Good times with hot glue! ;o)
Happy Saturday!
TTFN!
